I agree with Patrick and want to add that currently 1st semester students start to learn Eiffel. So it would be good to provide a web site first, so that also students who use 5.7 most probably could profit from the project right away.

I'm kind of wondering if it wouldn't make more sense to go at it the other way araound. Provide a web based access to examples first (could be a simple webpage) and create a client to access examples later as this would allow to have more up to date examples, access examples without any installation (e.g. I want to show a friend that does not yet program eiffel, how easy it would be to do something in eiffel) and keep the whole thing more dynamic.
