We have now several places where we need unique IDs. One is the EV_APPLICATION_IMP<br />
class as a way of identifying events and another place is for the EV_TREEs where<br />
each item needs to have a unique ID. If there's need for more IDs we should probably adapt a ID_MANAGER class or something.</div>Dfurrer
